S. Michigan - Hospitalist

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Family or
Adult) for an in-patient rehab center in Southern Michigan. This is essentially
a hospitalist position. Other providers on site. Will consider an experienced
candidate or new graduate. Schedule will be M-F, 8a – 5p. Compensation
will be $75-100k with a comprehensive benefit package including 3 ½
wks vacation, malpractice, health insurance, retirement and 1 wk paid CME.
Generous relocation assistance and separate sign-on bonus. This is a cozy

Nebraska – Rural Health 

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for
a rural health clinic in Western Nebraska. Will consider an experienced
provider or new graduate. Physician on site. Schedule is M-F, 8a – 5p.
Light call (including ER). Anticipated patient volume is around 15/day
to start and building as you become established. Compensation will be $75
– 100k with a comprehensive benefit package including 27 days PTO (including
holidays), malpractice, no-cost health insurance, retirement, 10 days paid
CME. Also, this position offers Federal Loan Repayment Assistance with
a high HPSA score (requires 2 year commitment). The cash value of this
benefit is $25k (1st year), and $25k (2nd year). These are pretax dollars

Clinical Coordinator Faculty Position in Physician Assistant Studies

 

The Physician Assistant Program at Quinnipiac University invites applications
for a Clinical Coordinator. This is a full-time, 12 month faculty position.
Reporting directly to the Program Director, the successful candidate will
be responsible for both curricular and administrative aspects of the PA
program. 

The primary responsibilities will be to oversee, maintain, continue
the development of and perform outcome analysis on electronic student logging
and clinical evaluations. This individual will also be responsible for
providing technical support for students with regards to the clinical tracking
program.

Additional responsibilities will include: student advisement and the
monitoring of student performance in the clinical year; conducting clinical
site visits; evaluation, outcome analysis and development of PA clinical
curriculum; active participation and coordination of PA program committees.
In addition, he/she will be expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate
levels, participate in university service, engage in scholarship and maintain
clinical practice hours.

Qualifications for this position include graduation from an accredited
physician assistant program, minimum of an earned Master’s Degree, proven
clinical precepting and/or teaching experience, minimum of three years
current clinical experience, current NCCPA certification and eligibility
for licensure in the State of Connecticut. †Advanced computer skills required
with proficiency in using clinical evaluation software. Experience in PA
education is desirable.

The Rothman Institute, the Philadelphia area’s premier, multi-specialty
orthopaedic practice is currently looking for a house Physician Assistant. 
This position will be scheduled at the Riddle Memorial Hospital office
five days a week to support a designated physician daily, provide triage
and care plan for orthopaedic emergency room patients at the hospital requesting
care from a Rothman Institute provider.  Also needs to provide casting/bracing

Hospitalist Consultants, Inc. (HCI) is the newest addition of physician-related
management services offered by Emergency Consultants, Inc. to its partner
hospitals. At HCI, we understand that both the Hospitalist program and
hospital exist to serve the needs of the patients. 

Select Specialty Hospital - Charleston is a leading provider of long-term
acute care (LTAC) hospital services. The 32-bed facility serves critically
ill and medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization
and cannot be transitioned to a lower level of care. The average length
of stay for all patients combined is generally 25 days.

HCI is looking for self-motivated Physician Assistants to work collaboratively
within a physician-led interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive care
to patients in the LTAC. 

The ideal candidate demonstrates a high degree of clinical expertise
working with medically complex patients having acute and chronic illnesses.

Candidates must be  NCCPA certified and have previous critical
care experience.
